The dissertation presents the results of formation of acmeological culture of students of faculties of arts of pedagogical universities in the process of vocal and choral education. The relevance of the study is related to the reform of modern society, because its spiritual renewal is impossible without the revival of cultural traditions, focus on the values of the arts, which puts forward new requirements for professional training of future teachers of music. It is determined that acmeological culture is an integral part of the general professional and pedagogical culture of a music teacher, responsible for self-development and self-improvement of the individual throughout life. Acmeological culture of the future music teacher brings design to his general professional and pedagogical culture not only focusing on universal values associated with the assertion of its role and importance in the social and professional pedagogical environment, but also aiming to increase the prestige of the profession of music teacher. the possibility of personal influence on the spiritual development of students by means of their subject; creative improvement of the content, forms, methods of music education of schoolchildren. The study notes that it is acmeological culture that characterizes the activities of teacher self-development. Defining acmeological culture as a system that provides self-realization of the individual, the use of internal resources and focus on environmental conditions is emphasized. From this point of view, it is important to reach professional, personal and spiritual heights in the process of individualization, because improvement is achieved through acmeological knowledge as knowledge of a set of aspects and properties of the relationship of real objects. Confirmation of this is the pattern of self-realization of the creative potential of the individual in the process of professional activity on the way to high achievements.
