Halas L. Strategy of foreign economic activity of agricultural enterprises.

The thesis deals with the theoretical and methodological foundations of research on the formation and implementation of strategies for the foreign economic activity of agricultural enterprises. The essence of the strategy of the foreign economic activity of agricultural enterprises is substantiated, its role, place, and interrelation on its formation and implementation at the enterprise are determined. Scientific, theoretical, and methodical approaches to creating the strategy of the foreign economic activity are systematized and determined. The tendencies of the development of the foreign economic activity of agricultural enterprises of the Ivano-Frankivsk region are analyzed. Conceptual theoretical and methodological bases of formation and implementation of the strategy of the foreign economic activity development of agricultural enterprises are outlined. The study of the strategy of the foreign economic activity of agricultural enterprises contributed to the development of a system-integrated approach to the interpretation of the category «strategy of the foreign economic activity of agricultural enterprises» and improved methods of classification of agricultural enterprises depending on the level of their foreign economic activity. The term «strategy of the foreign economic activity of agricultural enterprises» means «long-term plan, which as a sub-strategy of the overall development strategy of the enterprise, provides a set of directions, principles, policies, and actions carried out by the agricultural enterprise in the development of its foreign economic activity to strengthen financial and economic capacity and gain additional competitive advantages». Methodological approaches to the substantiation of the foreign economic development strategy as an integral sub-strategy of general development strategy are improved, its place and role in general development strategy are determined, and a systematic approach of combining different sub-strategies within a typical strategy of agricultural enterprises development is proposed. The main theoretical and methodological principles of formation and implementation of the strategy of foreign economic activity of agricultural enterprises are determined based on a systematic approach, which provides the substantiation of theoretical principles, general and specific functions, and methodological foundations of strategic management of the foreign economic activity of agricultural enterprises.
