Dissertation is devoted to the problem of research of the main vectors of the Ukrainian pedagogical historiography development of foreign language education in foreign countries end of the XX - beginning of the XXI century. An important component of pedagogical historiography of the development of foreign language education in some countries and regions was the problem of creative use of its experience in the educational process of Ukraine. In comparative studies it is the main subject of research, in others - one of the research tasks, the experience of foreign language education in foreign countries is studied from the standpoint of its possible use in the educational process of Ukraine. Understanding of this problem is focused on the coverage of the regulatory framework of national systems of foreign language education and scientific and theoretical principles, content, technologies, methods, other components and aspects of its development. Differences in approaches and understanding of possibilities of internalization of this experience in the Ukrainian educational space are revealed.
