Essay

The thesis analyzes domestic and foreign experience in the formation of digital competence of future economists and improving their professional skills in the use of digital tools; the formation and development of digital competence of economists, both general and professional competences, is an important task of modern universities in training future economists and improving their skills. International and European institutions pay great attention to the development of frameworks and standards of digital competence, in particular, the standard of digital intelligence reflects the following categories: adequate use of digital technologies for data processing, management information systems, economic risk prevention, cybersecurity, digital communications. The development of digital competence of future economists is carried out both during the study of information technology disciplines and within professionally-oriented (professional) disciplines. Therefore, it is necessary to develop the content, methods and forms for the formation and development of digital competence of future economists while studying in higher educational institutions in accordance with the educational program of training in economics. The results of the experimental study confirm the hypothesis that the application of a step-by-step method of forming digital competence of future economists is a structure that contains all components (digital identity, digital use, digital risks, digital security, digital emotional intelligence, digital communication, literacy, digital rights) on three levels ("digital citizenship", "digital creativity", "digital entrepreneurship") provides an opportunity to increase the level of digital competence of future economists.
