In the context of neo-industrial modernization of the economy and to achieve the goals of sustainable development, all industrial enterprises must revise their strategies and turn to an innovative path of development. The same applies to oil transportation companies as high-tech facilities. There are the scientific substantiation of theoretical and methodical, methodological and applied provisions concerning strategic management of innovative development of the oil transport enterprises in the dissertation. In the first section the theoretical basis of formation of strategic management of innovative development is developed. To do this, an analys is of the genesis of the concepts of "strategic management" and "innovation development" through their interaction.
