Liutyi V. Language competence development in officers of the National Guard of Ukraine military units in distance learning

The thesis analyzes the problem of development of language competence in officers of military units of the National Guard of Ukraine in the process of distance learning: - It was determined, theoretically substantiated and experimentally proved the effectiveness of pedagogical conditions for the language competence development in officers of the National Guard of Ukraine in the process of distance learning (development and implementation of educational and methodological support for distance learning in order to develop language competence in officers of National Guard of Ukraine military units in the process of distance learning; development of teachers digital competence and the formation of officers digital literacy; the positive motivation development in officers to foreign languages distance learning). - Peculiarities of NGU officers distance learning are revealed. - The model of language competence development in NGU officers in the course of distance learning is developed. - The state of language competence development in NGU officers is defined as well as criteria and indicators, levels of language competence development in NGU officers are formulated. - Also the list of technologies and means of language competence development in officers is specified. And methods and forms of NGU officers distance learning were further developed. The first section "Development of language competence in officers of military units of the National Guard of Ukraine as a scientific and pedagogical problem" reveals the essence and provides a substantive description of the key concepts "language competence of officers" and "distance learning of officers of NGU military units"; the peculiarities of the content and process of distance learning of NGU officers are established; possible scientific approaches to the model of the process of distance learning of NGU officers are determined. In the second section "Substantiation of pedagogical conditions for the formation of language competence in officers of military units of the National Guard of Ukraine" the model of development of language competence in NMU officers in the process of distance learning was substantiated; the peculiarities of educational and methodological support of distance learning in officers of military units of the National Guard of Ukraine in the system of their individual training are revealed; pedagogical conditions for the formation of language competence of NGU officers in distance learning have been established. The third section "Experimental verification of the implementation of pedagogical conditions for the development of language competence in officers of military units of the National Guard of Ukraine" presents the course of experimental verification of the implementation of the model and certain pedagogical conditions for its implementation. The results of the study can be used can be used by graduate students, students, teachers of foreign languages HEE with specific learning conditions; in addition, in the self-educational activities of officers of the National Guard of Ukraine.
