Essay

Preservation of the monarchical form of government in the context of globalization and overall democratization of the world is a unique phenomenon. Slightly more than a fifth of all existing countries are monarchies. And some of them play an important political and economic role on the world stage. Accordingly, this leads not only to scientific but also practical interest in studying the transformation of the monarchy’s institution and the prospects for its preservation in the context of assessing the political stability of such influential monarchies as Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Japan. Ukraine is not a monarchy and does not border on any of them, but it has close ties with some of them. For example, Great Britain, Spain and the Netherlands are significant economic partners of Ukraine. Also, our country built up contacts with Qatar and the UAE
