The thesis offers some effective solutions to the relevant scientific problem concerning theoretical justification and experimental verification of methods for developing environmental competence in future teachers of specialized subjects from agricultural vocational education institutions. It analyzes the basic research concepts, shows the coverage of the problem in question in relevant scientific sources and studies the characteristics of professional training of these specialists. The practical value of the thesis lies in developing and introducing the author’s methods for developing environmental competence in future vocational agriculture teachers into the educational process of agricultural vocational education institutions. These methods systematically and functionally combine the content, methods, tools and forms of environmental education and practical environmental activities into one technological construct.
