Kalantaievska O. Formation of a strategy of sustainable economic development of the agricultural sector of Ukraine

The dissertation is devoted to substantiation of theoretical and methodical bases and development of practical recommendations on formation of strategy of sustainable economic development in the agricultural sector of Ukraine. It is established that the agricultural sector of Ukraine has a strong potential for development due to the provision of agricultural land and high soil fertility, which is the basis for expanding its export opportunities and potential in international markets. The study of crisis-forming and strategic factors that determine the development and functioning of the structure of the agricultural industry allowed to combine the existing factors into groups including: natural resources, economic, socio-demographic,scientific and technical, infrastructural factors of endogenous and exogenous impact. The conceptual priorities of the policy of sustainable development of the agricultural sector should take into account the trends of world markets, the high level of international competition and the systemic presence of the agricultural sector of Ukraine's economy in commodity markets.
