The research is devoted to the problem of training future teachers of natural sciences to use information and communication technologies during professional activities.
The scientific novelty of the obtained results:
– pedagogical conditions were first identified (creation of positive motivational environment to increase readiness of teachers to use information and communication technologies during professional activities; improve of training of future teachers of natural sciences to use information and communication technologies during professional activities by introducing innovations in teaching methods; application of teaching materials for training future teachers to use information and communication technologies); developed and substantiated a structural-functional model of training of future teachers of natural specialties to use information and communication technologies during professional activities, which contains four interrelated blocks: functional-target (consists of the goal as a system-forming element, tasks, principles and features of training), content-methodical (represents the disciplines, forms, methods, tools and approaches to the educational activities of future teachers of natural specialties), activity-practical (shows the stages of information and communication technologies implementation in the educational process and ways of applying information and communication technologies) and evaluation (contains components – motivational-valuable, cognitive-creative, methodical, creative-reflexive; criteria – motivational, cognitive, methodological-activity, evaluation-productive; levels – elementary, reproductive, reconstructive, creative), which are united by relationship with pedagogical conditions;
– improved criteria, indicators, levels of readiness of future teachers of natural specialties to use information and communication technologies during professional activities;
– the concept of «readiness of future teachers of natural specialties», the structure of readiness as a system which contains motivational and value; cognitive-creative; methodical; creative-reflexive components is concretized.
The theory and practice of training of teachers of natural sciences were further developed; dense combination of paper and electronic educational tools in the training of future specialists; constant use of information and communication technologies in the educational activities of higher education students.
Practical significance of the research is to develop and implement in educational process of higher educational establishments electronic course «Scientific Research in Biology», a system for diagnosing the levels of readiness of future teachers of natural sciences to use information and communication technologies during professional activities, which can be used by teachers for training students; educational and methodological support aimed at formation readiness of future teachers of natural specialties to use information and communication technologies during professional activities, including: experimental programs, a set of professionally-oriented exercises and tasks, tests.
