Essay

The dissertation research is devoted to the research of psychological and organizational-legal bases of successful self-realization in professional activity of women-policemen; identification of factors influencing the external professional (achievement of significant achievements in various aspects of professional activity) and internal professional (professional self-improvement aimed at improving professional competence and development of professionally important qualities) success of women police officers of the National Police of Ukraine; suggestions were given to increase the dynamics of development and achieve success in professional self-realization, personal (internal) potential and the degree of realization of individual capabilities of women police NPU. It is determined that self-realization as a systemic psychological formation contains in its structure several subsystems, which are a set of motivations for self-realization in the direction of a certain content and subsequent self-regulation of the subject of self-realization, which reveals the mechanism of self-realization. Self-realization is realized as supra-situational (non-adaptive) activity only when it reaches a certain level of development of personality (individuality). The choice of the direction of self-realization is made on the basis of self-knowledge and self-determination of the subject. Incentives for self-realization arise in a person in the process of passing the crises of development of his personality, provided the successful outcome of these crises.
