Essay

The study presents a theoretical substantiaion and proposes a new solution to the problem of forming creative abilities in future vocal teachers. The research actualizes the issue of the master degree students’ ability to acquire creative abilities and apply them in future vocal and professional activity. The aim of the research is to scientifically substantiate and experimentally test methods of forming creative abilities in future vocal teachers. The object of the research is training future vocal teachers for professional activity. The scientific novelty of the research is that for the first time the essence of the phenomenon “creative abilties of the future vocal teacher” and its component structure in the unity of need-based and motivational, analytical and hermeneutic, performing and interpretative, scientific and methodical, professional and activity-oriented components was substantiated; the methodical model was developed, it included scientific approaches – individually-personalizied, hermeneutic, praxeological, pedagogical principles – the principles of student-centered and creative direction of the vocal and educational process; compensatory and individual regulation of the content and methods of forming the creative abilities of future vocal teachers; psychological support of the subjects of the educational process as creative individuals; compliance of the content of the formative and creative process with the practical needs and requirements of modern vocal teaching practice; principles of emergence; system diversity of creative tasks; hierarchical-stepwise complication of tasks for the formation of creative abilities in the reproductive and basic, independent and initiative, creative and productive direction; pedagogical conditions were determined – providing a comfortable and creative environment in the vocal and educational process; harmonization of intuitively holistic and consciously algorithmic vectors of mastering the creative abilities by future vocal teachers; actualization of propaedeutic and approbation, pedagogical and practical orientation of the process of forming creative skills of future vocal teachers. The criteria and indicators for assessing the levels of formation of future vocal teachers’ creative abilities are presented. The essence of the concepts of “creative development of personality” is specified, the theoretical platform of vocal education is improved by developing the typology of creative skills of teachers of vocal and professional disciplines. The methods of training vocal teachers for professional activity were further developed.The practical significance of the research results lies in the development of diagnostic methods for identifying the levels of formation of creative abilities in future vocal teachers and the presented level characteristics of the formation of creative abilities in them; in the expediency of applying the developed set of tasks of formative and creative nature in the Course of performing mastery in vocal specialities, in classes on ensemble singing, the methods of teaching vocal in higher pedagogical education, in hermeneutic workshop, workshop on performing and pedagogical interpretation of vocal works. The proposed methods can be applied in the conditions of professional development of vocal teachers and in the process of self-education and self-improvement of specialists of this profile at different qualification levels.
