Essay

Education transformations aimed at democratizing, modernizing and Europeanizing the education environment require changes in the real missions and visions of education institutions. The new educational paradigm needs new forms of education management and marketing, transforming management thinking and bringing innovations from modern education into a new approach to management. Institutions at the current stage of the development of society, the transformation of world economic relations and the reform of education are actually operating under market conditions. To a large extent, this is the case of the NFEI, whose inmates attend clubs, creative groups, sections and the like not because they should, but primarily because of their self-development and self-fulfilment of their talents. And in these circumstances, traditional approaches to the management of NFEI may lead not to development. This can limit children's access to extracurricular education. Therefore, one of the main criteria for the development of non-formal education is the availability of interesting, modern offers of education services and stable demand for them. In these two circumstances, the development of NFEI may show signs of sustainability. Not so mach attention has been paid by scientists to the management of nonformal education on the basis of project technologies. There are no scientific works that reveal the mechanism for the introduction of project technologies into the activities of the non-formal education institution, and there is almost no developed methodology for studying the impact of the project activities of the institution on the 13 dynamics of the population of students and teachers. There is a backlog of current issues relating to the creation of a new and modern system for involving participants in the education process and international partners in the development and implementation of education projects and there is no appropriate legislative basis. An analysis of current theory and practice in the management of a nonformal education institution in general and of the project activities of such an institution has revealed a number of contradictions between the urgent needs of heads of non-formal education institutions for the application of modern management technologies and the level of scientific and methodological support for the introduction of such technologies; the need to uthe mechanisms of positioning of out-of-school educational institutions in the market of educational services and the theoretical unpreparedness of the heads of out-of-school educational institutions for such activities; the need to create new management models for the operation of non-formal education and the insufficient level of preparedness of school managers and teachers to introduce such models.
