The dissertation presents the results of fundamental and applied research on the development of technologies and range of products for therapeutic and prophylactic purposes for the nutrition of children with pyelonephritis. Kidney disease in people of different ages, especially children is an acute problem in all countries. Proper nutrition plays a very important role in the comprehensive treatment of kidney disease in children. According to modern studies of the pathology of kidney disease, the main principle of therapeutic and preventive nutrition is the maximum sparing of the body and ensuring the normalization of its function. With this in mind, the diet completely excludes foods that can adversely affect kidney function. Unlike the adult body, in children with kidney disease, medical nutrition should ensure the normal growth of the child. In some cases, therapeutic nutrition has its own significance, in other cases - is one of the leading factors in comprehensive treatment. Scientific and practical novelty is to create a range of long-term storage products for therapeutic and preventive nutrition of children with pyelonephritis, developing new flexible and improving existing production technologies, modeling animal testing, clinical trials, research on quality and safety and functionality of products.
