Yaremchuk R. Physiological and legal aspects of polygraph implication in staffing of units of the Ministry of Interior of Ukraine

The dissertation work is devoted to research psychological and legal bases of use of the polygraph in staffing of divisions of the Ministry of Interior of Ukraine. A study of the historical origins and current state of staffing of the MOI of Ukraine suggests that the current conditions for reforming law enforcement agencies in Ukraine lead to new requirements for selection, professional and psychological training and support of human resources. The effectiveness of the implementation of these areas of staffing influence on fulfilment by the law enforcement system of tasks and functions required by the state and the population. It gets especially important regarding the units of the MOI, given its role in maintaining law and order and combating criminal encroachment in the state.
