In the dissertation the complex scientific research devoted to features of investigation of crimes committed by officials of legal entities under public law, and also development on this basis of a complex of methodical recommendations, on investigation of the specified criminal acts is carried out. Views on the current state and development of corruption crime, features and prospects for improving the process of investigation of crimes committed by officials of legal entities under public law are covered. As a result of the research, a number of new scientific provisions and conclusions, proposed personally by the dissertation, were formulated. Analysis of the theoretical and methodological foundations of the study made it possible to develop an author's interpretation of crimes committed by officials of legal entities under public law, which should be understood as socially dangerous, illegal actions committed by a special entity, official of a legal entity endowed with administrative or organizational powers, for selfish or other personal interests, which led to a significant violation of the rights and legitimate interests of citizens, institutions, society or the state. It is proposed to make changes and add paragraph 2 рart 1 of Аrt. 3 of the Law of Ukraine «On Prevention of Corruption», the concept of «officials of a legal entity under public law» which is proposed to mean individual employees of a legal entity, public law, who are permanently or temporarily endowed with official powers in the following areas: management and disposal of state (municipal) property; management of industry, workforce, area of work, production activities of individual employees.
