The dissertation is a theoretical and experimental study of the problem of
managing an institution of general secondary education in the conditions of mixed
education.
The relevance of the study is determined by the high level of society's
requirements for the competitiveness of graduates of general secondary education
institutions, the need to introduce innovative technologies into the management
process of general secondary education institutions in conditions of mixed
education, and the lack of meaningful organizational and methodological support
for the researched process in the postgraduate education system. The significance
of the problem of assessing the quality of basic secondary education, and therefore
improving the mechanisms of organizing the educational process in institutions of
general secondary education, is updated.
In the process of the research, scientific approaches to the essence of the
main concepts of the research were positioned, the content, forms and methods of
management of the institution of general secondary education in the conditions of
mixed education were characterized; a criterion-level analysis of the management
process of a general secondary education institution in the conditions of mixed
education was carried out, its effectiveness was investigated.
The work theoretically substantiates the essence of managing a general
secondary education institution in the conditions of mixed education; integration
processes in the modern educational space, which affect the improvement of the
quality of educational services in the institution of general secondary education.
The task of ensuring a high level of education quality occupies the main
place in the reform of the national system of general secondary education, as they
reflect the key positions of the vision and mission of the development of
educational institutions. Increasing requirements for the quality of education, the
development of students' creative abilities, the level of culture and moral and
spiritual education of the younger generation motivates the awareness of the need
to introduce blended learning into the educational process of a general secondary
education institution.
The form of mixed education, as evidenced by pedagogical experience,
contributes to ensuring a high intellectual level of citizens, which opens up wide opportunities for students to receive educational services in an unlimited
geographical space and meets the individual educational needs of each student,
contributes to the development of independent planning and the construction of a
personally oriented educational schedule of the student.
Attention is focused on the era of digitization of the process of providing
educational services in the institution of general secondary education. The
introduction of various forms of education (distance, network, correspondence,
individual) as components of mixed education in Ukraine begins a new page in the
formation of the domestic educational space. The use in the educational process of
blended learning: elements of distance, network, individual forms and methods of
learning contributes to the individualization of the process of successful learning,
encourages students to work independently, contributes to the formation of their
information culture, directs them to mastering innovative means of obtaining and
applying educational information.
A theoretical analysis of the domestic and foreign experience of mixed
education in a general secondary education institution and the peculiarities of the
organization of mixed education in the countries: Italy, Nigeria, China, the United
States of America, Croatia, Germany, Great Britain was carried out.
The research substantiates the need for the process of introducing distance
learning as a component of blended learning, which begins a new page in the
history of domestic education in the conditions of an innovative educational space.
The basis for such a statement is the positioning of the development trends of
secondary general education institutions, which are inextricably linked to
significant social, cultural and innovative educational shifts in the conditions of
informatization of society.
