Essay

The most important results of the study are that for the first time: - the level of awareness of pharmacist students, pharmaceutical specialists and pharmacy visitors regarding the "ten-star pharmacist" concept was assessed, as well as the compliance with it of the main regulatory and legal acts on pharmacy, announcements of vacancies for pharmaceutical specialists, university educational and professional programs and the educational standard for training masters of pharmacy, as well as the project of the professional standard of a pharmacist, which argues the importance of implementing the provisions of the World Health Organization and the International Pharmaceutical Federation regarding the professional role of a pharmaceutical specialist in the system of domestic pharmaceutical support, education and science; - the components of the structural-verbal model of the decomposition of the key professional role of a pharmaceutical specialist are substantiated, which is presented as a polysystemic phenomenon, which allows for the practical formalization of the key professional role in the form of 10 main professional roles and 50 professional functions of a pharmaceutical specialist, and also contributes to the understanding of the essence of multifunctional, complexly organized professional activity pharmaceutical specialist; - a conceptual model of the implementation the "ten-star pharmacist" concept was developed in the pharmaceutical sector of the healthcare industry of Ukraine, which allowed us to propose three interrelated directions of this implementation - pharmaceutical practice, pharmaceutical education and pharmaceutical science. In the dissertation, further development took place: - the motivational aspect of the activity of pharmaceutical specialists, which, in contrast to the existing one, made it possible to develop seven management solutions for the better motivation of pharmaceutical specialists and the proper quality of their professional roles while reducing their professional burnout; - adding content to the draft professional standard "Pharmacist" by proposing to harmonize the general competencies of the educational standard and the draft professional standard, clarifying one professional competency and adding four job functions with corresponding professional competencies; - educational and methodological support of the educational process for the preparation of masters of pharmacy, which, unlike the existing one, involves the study of a new elective discipline "Theory and practice of the realisation the "ten-star pharmacist" concept", covering 5 topics for a detailed consideration of the main professional roles of a pharmaceutical specialist.
