Sahan V. Methodology of training future officers for military (ship) economy management in the units of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

The dissertation is devoted to the solution of the scientific task on improving the training of future officers for the organization and management of military (ship) economy in the bodies and units of state border protection by substantiating pedagogical conditions and methods. In the first chapter – «Scientific-theoretical and comparative bases of training future officers to manage military (ship) economy» – an analysis was made regarding the experience of training specialists of military formations and law enforcement agencies of Ukraine and foreign countries on issues of logistical support; the peculiarities of the professional activity of officers in menaging military (ship) economy in the units of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine were determined; the essence, structure and content of the professional readiness of a border guard officer for menaging military (ship) economy were also revealed. In the second chapter – «Scientific-methodical principles of training future officers for military (ship) economy management in the units of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine» – the research methodology was presented; criteria, indicators and levels of formation of professional readiness of future officers for military (ship) management were defined in the units of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine; the state of professional training of future border guard officers on this issue was clarified, pedagogical conditions were also defined and substantiated, and the methodology for training future officers for menaging military (ship) economy in the units of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine was developed in the research. In the third chapter – «Results of the experimental verification of the effectiveness of the method of training future officers for military (ship) economy management in the units of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine» – the results of the formative experiment and methodological recommendations for scientific and pedagogical workers regarding the training of future officers for military (ship) economy in the units of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine were presented. The scientific novelty of the obtained results is that: for the first time: the pedagogical conditions for training future officers to menage military (ship) economy in the units of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine are substantiated (activation of the value-motivational attitude of cadets to the study of the peculiarities and organization of military (ship) management in the units of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine; selection and structuring of the content of the training material taking into account the current requirements for the organization of military (ship) economy and foreign experience in the field of logistics support; modeling of the training of future border guard officers to menage military (ship) economy on the basis of contextual training (practical training, daily activities of cadets); organization of scientific professional development – teaching staff on logistics issues; creation of an informational and educational environment for the effective formation of cadets’ competences in the organization and management of military (ship) economy in the units of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine); a methodology for training future officers for military (ship) economy management in the units of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine was developed, which includes target, content-technological and effective stages; the conceptual apparatus of the research problem was clarified, in particular the content of the concept of «professional readiness of a border guard officer to manage a military (ship) economy» (professionally important personal ability, characterized by a valuable attitude to the effective solution of the tasks of logistical support of units (bodies) of state border protection and covers the system of motives, knowledge in the field of economic activity, abilities and skills of its organization, professionally important properties of the individual, which in a complex combination ensure the effective performance of the tasks of running a military (ship) economy in the conditions of operational-service and service-combat activity) and its structure (motivational, cognitive, operational and personal components); the diagnostic apparatus for clarifying the state of formation of the professional readiness of future officers for military (ship) economy management in the units of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine was improved due to the use of criteria, corresponding indicators and characteristics of the levels of the formation of the specified property; further development gained a concept of formation of professional readiness for military (ship) economy management due to the developed structural-functional model of the methodology for training future officers for such activities.
