Kolobova I. The psychological features of narrative construction made by divorced women basing on their personal experience

The dissertational work reveals the issue of narratives composed on personal experience within the framework of the psychological-hermeneutic approach, in particular, an event of divorce is examined. To solve this issue, the author determined the integral components of composed narratives about experience, created a procedure identifying narrative strategies, substantiated and approved the program of narrative construction to provide psychological assistance to divorced women. The main research goal was to find psychological determinants, mechanisms and strategies for narrative construction made by divorced women basing on their personal experience. To implement effectively this goal the author outlined and solved several tasks in order to analyse the existing state of theoretical and methodological development of personal experience construction in psychology; to define the structural-processual and informative components of composed narratives about personal experience; to develop a set of methods identifying the main components of personal experience construction; to determine empirically the psychological features of narratives composed by divorced women basing on their personal experience; to develop and test the procedure of narrative construction as a means of psychological assistance for divorced women.
