The dissertation solves a scientific problem in pedagogical theory and practice on the formation of managerial competence of future officers-specialists in physical culture and sports of the Armed Forces (hereinafter - Armed Forces) of Ukraine in the process of their professional-pedagogical training in higher military educational institutions.
The state of research of the problem of formation of managerial competence of specialists in scientific-pedagogical literature is analyzed. The concept of "managerial competence of future officers-specialists in physical culture and sports of the Armed Forces of Ukraine" is substantiated on the leading ideas and provisions of systemic, competence, contextual and subject-activity methodological approaches as their professionally important mental formation, which consists of a set of value-motivational, cognitive, emotional-volitional, functional-activity and subjective components that contain managerial values and motivation, knowledge, skills, abilities, professionally important qualities, responsibility and autonomy in the management of physical education of military personnel.
The content of the components of the managerial competence of future officers-specialists in physical culture and sports is substantiated. In particular, such components: value-motivational; cognitive; emotional-volitional; functional-activity; subjective.
A professionally oriented model for the formation of managerial competence of future officers-heads of physical training and sports of military units in the process of their professional-pedagogical training in the system of military education has been designed and experimentally tested.
As a result of the analysis and generalization of the results of the ascertaining stage of the experiment, it was found that the level of formation of managerial competence in future officers-specialists in physical culture and sports in the process of their professional-pedagogical training in higher military educational institutions is predominantly low. In particular, it was found that the level of motivation for the chosen profession is low; lack of understanding of the essence and role of managerial competence as a specialist in physical culture and sports. All this became a result, firstly, of insufficient consideration of their managerial function in the state standard; secondly, the absence of a system of pedagogical conditions in higher military educational institutions for its purposeful formation and insufficient consideration of the managerial aspect during the teaching of professional disciplines. Taking into account these results, pedagogical modeling of its formation in the process of professional-pedagogical training in higher military educational institutions as an organizational condition for its purposeful formation in the process of professional-pedagogical training was carried out.
The main blocks of it are designed as follows: goal-methodological; content; subjective; organizational-methodical; diagnostic-resultative.
A methodology has been developed and methodological recommendations have been provided on the formation of managerial competence of future officers-heads of physical training and sports of military units in the process of professional-pedagogical training in the system of military education.
The following main stages of the methodology have been developed: value-motivational, formative and final.
The criteria and indicators for diagnosing the formation of managerial competence of future officers-heads of physical training and sports of military units in the process of professional-pedagogical training in the system of military education have been improved. In particular, such: axiological-motivational; cognitive; individual-psychological; managerial-activity; reflective.
According to the results of the formative stage of the pedagogical experiment, it was found that such pedagogical modeling has a positive impact on the dynamics of the formation of managerial competence in future officers-specialists in physical culture and sports of military units in the process of their professional-pedagogical training in higher military educational institutions as future subjects of military management.
The results of calculating the statistical reliability of experimental data showed that the pedagogical conditions for the formation of managerial competence of future officers-specialists in physical culture and sports of the Armed Forces of Ukraine contributed to ensuring the effectiveness of its formation, which has a statistically significant difference compared to the results of the ascertaining and formative stages of the pedagogical experiment.
