Tarasiuk Y. Formation of Management Competence of Future Bachelors in Military Administration

The dissertation presents a new solution to the problem of the formation of management competence of future bachelors in military administration. A targeted analysis of scientific researches on the content and structure of the management competence of future bachelors in military administration made it possible to determine its structural components: value-motivational, cognitive-communicative, practical-active, personal-reflexive. The scientific novelty of the obtained results is that: – for the first time, the pedagogical conditions of the formation of management competence of future bachelors in military administration have been defined and theoretically substantiated (enrichment of the educational process in higher military educational institutions with management and dialogic interaction of lecturers and cadets; the problem nature of training cadets in the context of modeling military-management activities; provision of real powers and responsibilities of cadets during training practice as a unit commander (by specialty); pedagogical support for the development of professional and management qualities of future bachelors in military administration), the methods for their implementation within the scope of teaching disciplines of professional and practical training have been developed; the structural-functional model of the formation of management competence of future bachelors in military administration has been developed as a complex of target (goals and tasks of the research), methodological (methodological approaches, general and specific principles), content (information content of the researched process in the set of disciplines of the professional cycle), functional (pedagogical conditions, stages, types of educational activities, methods, forms of study) and criterion-evaluative blocks (components, criteria, levels of management competence of future bachelors in military administration), which allows to take into account dynamically changing requirements for the training of military managers. – the content and essence of the concepts «management activity of future bachelors in military administration», «management competence of future bachelors in military administration» have been improved, the criteria (axio-meaningful, info-communicative, praxeo-active and personal) and levels of formation (high, sufficient, satisfactory, low) of management competencies of future bachelors in military administration have been substantiated. The content of the vocational training of future bachelors in military administration, forms and methods of formation of management competence of cadets in higher military educational institutions have acquired further development. The practical significance of the obtained results is in the development and implementation intoo the educational process of higher military educational institutions: – Program of the Formation of Management Competence of Future Bachelors in Military Administration by making changes to the structural and logical scheme of studying disciplines with management content («Fundamentals of Military Administration (Including NATO Staff Procedures)», «Military Pedagogy and Psychology», «Management of Daily Activities of Subdivisions») and strengthening their interdisciplinary connections with the disciplines of the professional cycle («General Tactics»); – the author’s elective course «Development of Management Competence», which was «embedded» into the individual work of cadets; – the complex of mind maps for informational support for studying the discipline «Management of Daily Activities of Subdivisions»; – the training manual «Rules for the Development and Design of Combat Graphic Documents, a collection of tactical tasks and album of subdivisions’ actions schemes (department, platoon, company, battalion)».
