The relevance of the study is due to the identification of contradictions that arise in the process of preparing a qualified singing teacher who is able to successfully carry out professional activities based on the effective implementation of academization of the educational process in art schools. Based on the results of an analysis of research in philosophy, cultural studies, musicology, theater studies, psychology, pedagogy, a current conceptual thesaurus was determined: academic vocal performing art, academism, Italian vocal school bel canto, academic vocal, vocal culture, vocal culture of future teachers, vocal culture future music teacher, vocal culture of art institute students, vocal culture of the individual, performing culture, culture of one’s own vocal performance. Processing of scientific sources made it possible to clarify the content of the category of academic vocal and performing culture and formulate the concept of academic vocal and performing culture of future teachers of art schools, the formation of academic vocal and performing culture of future teachers of art schools in professional colleges.
In order to understand the role of academic vocal and performing culture in the structure of training future teachers of art schools in professional colleges, the curriculum, the educational standard for the preparation of a junior bachelor, the programs and work programs of the educational components of the professional training of the specialty 025 Musical Art of the specialization «Singing». A comparative analysis of normative documents in professional art colleges in Ukraine confirmed our opinion that the resource for the formation of academic vocal and performing culture in the structure of training future teachers of art schools in professional colleges is not fully used. In order to find opportunities for transforming the content of the disciplines of training future teachers of art schools in professional colleges in the aspect of the formation of academic vocal and performing culture, the study programs of the educational components «Solo singing», «Ensemble class», «Actor's skill», «Stage training», «А culture of speech», «Methods of teaching singing».
The content of academic vocal and performing culture, as well as the art of academic singing in general, manifests itself through the accumulation and high level of mastery of advanced bel canto technologies, standard singing, style and genre correspondence of one’s own interpretation of vocal works of world opera and chamber music. The structure of the academic vocal and performing culture of future teachers of art schools in professional colleges is represented by motivational, cognitive, performing and pedagogical components. The motivational component is manifested through the positive attitude of future teachers of art schools to vocal and pedagogical activities based on academicism, the integration of various motives, their orientation towards the pedagogical sphere; activation of the desire of applicants to master the knowledge, skills and abilities of the bel canto artistic and aesthetic system at a high level. The cognitive component includes the broad erudition of future teachers of art schools in the field of academic vocal culture and provides a theoretical basis for the successful acquisition of knowledge, skills and abilities by applicants at a high level, necessary for successful professional vocal and pedagogical activity. The performance component provides for the creative self-realization of future teachers of art schools in colleges in vocal performance activities in rehearsal, stage, and illustrative formats; activation of the practical approbation of technologies of the bel canto school, academic tone, resonator singing, impedance, breathing support, sound extension, etc.; enrichment of emotional intelligence, experience in interpreting different artistic forms of vocal works and communication with the listening audience, stage endurance and acting skills.
