The object of the study is the process of physical therapy of patients with comorbidity of Parkinson's disease and senile asthenia. The purpose of the study is the theoretical justification, development and verification of the effectiveness of a complex program of physical therapy for the elderly with comorbidity of Parkinson's disease and senile asthenia, aimed at improving the functional capabilities of patients and facilitating their performance of activities of daily life.Research methods. The analysis of special and scientific-methodical literature helped determine the relevance of the problem of physical therapy for patients with Parkinson's disease and elderly people with geriatric syndromes, which made it possible to substantiate the topic, tasks and choice of research methods. The following indicators were quantitatively evaluated: to characterize the changes associated with Parkinson's disease, the magnitude and characteristics of motor disorders (MDS-UPDRS), household and daily activities (Schwab and England ADL scale), quality of performance of activities of daily life related to balance (M-PAS), quality of life (PDQ-39); to describe the parameters of senile asthenia, wrist dynamometry, determination of balance and motor control (SPPB) was used; to determine balance and the risk of falling, balance was systematically assessed (Mini-BESTest), gait was functionally assessed (FGA), balance was determined according to the Berg balance scale (BBS) and fear of falling according to the fall efficiency scale (FES), the level of kinesiophobia - according to the Tampa scale (TKS ). Physical condition was assessed based on the results of the 6-minute walk test (distance, level of fatigue according to the Borg scale). Functional activity was assessed using the Barthel index (BI), the Lawton scale (IADL), and the geriatric motor function scale (GLFS-25).Theoretical and practical significance. The practical significance of the obtained results lies in the creation of a scientifically based complex program of physical therapy for the elderly with Parkinson's disease and senile asthenia, which will contribute to the improvement of the quality of life, the dynamics of motor function, the reduction of manifestations of motor activity limitations, depression, and the improvement of the performance of activities of daily life. The practical developments of the dissertation research were used in the practical activities of the Center for Restorative Medicine and Rehabilitation "ARAVMED" (Ivano-Frankivsk), Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Clinical Hospital, which was confirmed by the acts of implementation. The theoretical and methodological developments of the research are used in the educational process of the Department of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University, in particular in the lecture courses of the disciplines "Physical Therapy for Diseases and Injuries of the Nervous System" and "Clinical Management for Diseases of the Nervous System", which is confirmed by the acts of implementation. The program can be the basis for ensuring effective rehabilitation work among elderly people with comorbid pathology - Parkinson's disease and senile asthenia. At the same time, it can be used in the practice of physical therapists, occupational therapists, doctors of functional and rehabilitation medicine, other specialists of the multidisciplinary rehabilitation team of specialized neurological or geriatric and non-specialized rehabilitation departments. The scientific novelty of the obtained results lies in the substantiation of the scientific and theoretical foundations of the creation of a practical program of physical therapy for the elderly with Parkinson's disease and senile asthenia, namely:for the first time:• developed a comprehensive program of physical therapy for the elderly with Parkinson's disease and senile asthenia, the defining features of which are the performance of therapeutic exercises of various orientations and functional training using the platforms "PROSEDOS", Otago exercise program, manual influence (massage), elements of occupational therapy, patient education and their families, which distinguishes it from generally accepted programs of rehabilitation and physical therapy;• received data on the peculiarities of the course of senile asthenia in patients with Parkinson's disease (separately for each comorbid condition and their general impact on the health of the elderly)• a comprehensive program of physical therapy for the elderly with Parkinson's disease and senile asthenia is built in accordance with the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health, taking into account its main components and the characteristics of each condition, and the ultimate goal of restorative measures is aimed at the level of participation in life situations and / or professional activity.
