Hryhorchuk D. Managment of the development of the tourism industry of Ukraine in the conditions of European integration

The results obtained in the dissertation collectively address the scientific task of developing a post-war recovery and management platform for the development of the tourism industry in Ukraine in the context of European integration. The dissertation includes an analysis and synthesis of philosophical approaches to the essence and functioning of the category "tourism." Analyzing philosophical views from different times and geographical spaces provides grounds to assert that the development of tourism in a philosophical context involves a constant dialogue between different ethnic cultures and interreligious interaction among them with the aim of forming a tolerant culture and preventing interethnic conflicts in integration processes, which play a significant role in global development. During the research, an analysis of the European integration policy of innovative development as a process of voluntary creation of common institutions and gradual development of common policies by independent states to achieve common goals and protect common interests allowed to formulate an author's definition of the essence of the European integration policy for the management of the tourism industry as a comprehensive activity of each specific state in the field of tourism as a sphere of public life, the purpose of which is to create legislative conditions and executive initiatives to integrate the country into the EU by aligning it with the norms, requirements, and standards of the European Union. Unlike existing definitions, this definition takes into account the conditions of European integration and the global challenges of modernity, based on a criterion map of sustainable tourism development in the context of Ukraine's European integration course, which allows evaluating the factors shaping a particular criterion and serving as the basis for the development of sustainable tourism in the context of Ukraine's European integration course. The research established that the Euro-oriented development of the tourism industry in modern economic conditions can be ensured by a wide variety of innovative solutions, starting from transformations in the management and marketing activities of tour operators and travel agents and ending with the diversification of the tourism product itself and customer service methods. On this basis, the thesis improves the scientific approach to determining the directions for the development of the tourism industry in Ukraine, which is presented in the form of a graphical model of innovative solutions in the context of European integration development. The main vectors of post-war recovery of the tourism industry are determined to be quality and standards, skills development, marketing and branding, market analysis, as well as logistics and infrastructure. The meta-task of the post-war recovery and management platform for the development of the tourism industry in Ukraine in the context of European integration should be an increase in its contribution to the economy of Ukraine while adhering to European values. The directions for the development of the tourism industry in a strategic perspective of European integration have been identified.
