Gavdei S. Organizational and economic support for the development of the tourism sector in the conditions of a pandemic.

The research object is the development processes of the tourism sector in the pandemic conditions. The purpose of the dissertation is to develop theoretical and methodological support and practical tools for the formation organizational and economic support mechanism of for the tourism sector development in the pandemic conditions. The research methodological aspects are the positions of domestic and foreign scientists regarding the organizational and economic support for the tourism sector development in the pandemic conditions. The following research methods are used in the dissertation: induction and synthesis - for the study of the categorical apparatus; deductions and analysis - to study the factors of the tourism sector development in the pandemic conditions; systemic - to form a mechanism for organizational and economic support for the tourism sector development; abstract-logical – for the development of conclusions, generalizations and recommendations; historical – to study foreign experience of the pandemic on tourism impact; series of dynamics - for statistical analysis of traditional and modern factors of the Ukrainian tourism sector development; structural - to reflect the interrelationships of the mechanism components of organizational and economic support for the tourism sector development; grouping - to systematize factors of the tourism sector development; comparative - to compare foreign and domestic instruments of economic and organizational support for the tourism sector development; economic and statistical - for collecting information, processing it and presenting the obtained results; cluster analysis - for grouping into clusters the tools of economic and organizational tourism sector development; discriminant analysis - to select tools for ensuring the Ukrainian tourism sector development; graphic - for visual display of the results of the dissertation work.The conclusions obtained during the research arouse interest in both scientific and theoretical aspects, as well as in practical aspects, the possibility of their use in the formation of state and regional programs for the tourism sector development, as well as in the economic activity of tourism enterprises.The scientific novelty of the obtained results is determined by the fact that: the mechanism of organizational and economic support for the tourism sector development in the pandemic conditions has been improved; methodological support for the structuring of tourism sector development factors, taking into account their regional interpretation and the impact of pandemic conditions; theoretical basis of the essence of the concept of "tourist sector"; a model for ensuring the development of the tourism sector of Ukraine in the pandemic conditions; received further development of proposals to take into account the foreign experience of the impact of the pandemic on the tourism sector in Ukrainian realities, which consist in the implementation of not only short-term tasks related to the stabilization of the system through the diversification of the tourist product, discounts, reduction of the workforce, new marketing and information strategies, etc., but also solving long-term problems.
