The object of the study is the process of development and formation of land relations in agricultural enterprises. The purpose of the conducted dissertation research is to substantiate the theoretical and methodological foundations and form practical recommendations regarding the improvement of land relations in agricultural enterprises.The methodological aspects of the research are the positions of domestic and foreign scientists regarding the problems of improving land relations in agricultural enterprises. The following research methods were used in the dissertation: induction and synthesis, deduction and analysis, systemic abstract-logical, historical, series of dynamics, structural, grouping, monographic, comparative, calculation-constructive, method of expert evaluations, method of system analysis, statistical-economic, graphic etc.The scientific novelty of the obtained results concerns the created theoretical and methodological aspects and practical measures and recommendations regarding the improvement of land relations in agricultural enterprises, in particular: improved: interpretation of the concept of "improvement of land relations"; conceptual provisions for the realization of property rights in the economic circulation of agricultural land; methodological toolkit for the study of the functioning of land relations of agricultural enterprises; scientific substantiation of the peculiarities of the development of agrarian land use relations; the model for forecasting the output of gross products by agricultural enterprises, created with the help of the STELLA software product; the economic mechanism of improving land relations in agricultural enterprises; acquired further development: a scientific approach to the interpretation of the essence of "land relations"; substantiation of the conceptual position before the establishment and development of lease relations based on the principles of identification of relevant influencing factors; proposals regarding the formation of conditions for the use of agricultural land by enterprises; measures to ensure the efficiency of land use by agricultural enterprises; substantiation on the basis of a SWOT analysis of the possibilities of ensuring conditions for the effective use of agricultural land and threats that hinder these processes; measures to improve institutional provision of land relations in agricultural enterprises.The practical significance of the obtained results lies in the application of theoretical-methodological and practical proposals in the applied activity of state programs for the development of land relations in the agricultural sector, as well as in the economic activity of agricultural enterprises. Summarized results of the dissertation work and the author's proposals regarding the main trends in the development of the formation of land relations in agricultural enterprises.
