The dissertation is devoted to the analysis of the transformation of the party system of Great Britain in the conditions of the country's exit from the European Union.
The introduction of the dissertation defines the relevance of the research topic and its connection with scientific topics, outlines its object and subject, goal and task, research methods, scientific novelty and practical significance of the obtained results, as well as information on the approbation of the research results.
In the first chapter, "Theoretical and methodological foundations of the transformation of party systems", the theoretical foundations of the transformation of party systems in the modern conditions of globalization and interstate integration are presented, the modern peculiarities of the functioning of political parties are revealed, the methodology and source base necessary for obtaining high-quality and reliable research results are established.
Subsection 1.1 examines the conceptual and categorical apparatus of transformation of party systems.
Subsection 1.2 describes the main conceptual approaches of domestic and foreign political science schools to the definition and classification of modern party systems. In the second chapter, "Factors of changes in the party system of Great Britain under the influence of Brexit", the general features of the functioning of the British party system are determined, the attitude of the population and party elites to the process and consequences of the country's exit from the EU is analyzed, the influence of socio-economic prerequisites on the transformation of the party system of Great Britain during of the studied chronological period.
Subsection 2.1 provides a general description of the party system of Great Britain in the conditions of preparation and implementation of the foreign policy disintegration trend.
Subsection 2.2 analyzes the socio-economic situation of Great Britain in the context of Brexit, as socio-economic factors directly influenced the formation of the political order and the population's attitude towards European integration.
Subsection 2.3 identifies the key factors that shaped public opinion and the political interests of the main parliamentary parties of Great Britain on the eve of the start of the socio-political debate on the country's exit from the EU.
In the third chapter, "Evolution of the party system of Great Britain after leaving the EU", the transformational changes in the program documents, votes and practical activities of the main British political parties are analyzed, the further prospects and directions of development of the Conservative and Labor parties are determined, and the experience that should be taken into account in the modernization process is highlighted. party system of Ukraine at the current stage.
Subsection 3.1 identifies the main factors that influenced the transformation of the UK party system under Brexit conditions. It is shown that the key factor influencing the transformation of the party system of Great Britain during 2016–2023 is the socio-political and historical-ideological conflict between supporters and opponents of European integration (Eurooptimists and Eurosceptics).
In subsection 3.2. the essence and content of populist parties, which are fundamentally new to the British political system, are characterized.
In subsection 3.3 options are considered for taking into account the British experience of party system transformation for Ukraine.
In conclusion, it is emphasized that the party system of Great Britain in the conditions of the practical implementation of the disintegration course (2020-2023) has become more oriented towards solving internal problems, in particular the tasks of socio-economic development.
