The dissertation is devoted to a comprehensive theoretical and applied study of political dialogue both at the level of political science reflection and within the framework of the most relevant problem field and the tasks of consolidating Ukrainian society. The thesis analyses the phenomenon of political dialogue as a means of uniting society, as a socio-political category and a factor of political interaction. The author substantiates the phenomenon of political dialogue as a certain universal of the political culture of society, which is an integral structure in which, on the one hand, the situational meanings of communicative interaction are symbolically and indivisibly rolled up, and on the other hand, the meanings and dispositions of the worldʼs integrity, which allowed it to be understood not only as a certain communicative regime in the field of politics, but more deeply as an imperative to solve urgent political problems in society and in interstate relations. The work considers the peculiarities of the formation of political dialogue within the framework of the basic concepts of political science, expands the scope of the study of the process of its formation and classification, and conducts a theoretical and methodological analysis of dialogue forms of political consolidation. The author focuses on building a dialogue between the government and civil society, since this type of dialogue is a factor in the democratisation of society, which affects the consolidation of society and the reputation of the state in the international arena. The correlation and dialectical relationship of political dialogue and the level of political culture and consciousness of both the political elite and citizens, national character and established traditions are determined and studied. The importance of taking into account the influence of national identity on the process of forming a political dialogue is emphasized. The author describes political subcultures of extraterritorial nature (national- democratic, national-radical, Ukrainian Russians and inertial communist- bolshevik) and regional national identities in Ukraine. It is shown that, taking into account their characteristics, the Russian Federation resorts to the selection and use of manipulative political technologies in order to create conflicts in Ukrainian society. The importance of developing a political dialogue with Ukrainians living on the temporarily occupied territories in order to consolidate society and develop national identity is emphasised. The author suggests mechanisms for consolidating different social groups and involving them in the processes of state-building in Ukraine and jointly confronting the aggressor, in particular, through specially created online platforms, social media channels, etc. It is shown that political dialogue in Ukrainian society is mediated by both constructive and destructive determinants. The author systematises the subjective and objective foundations of political dialogue formation. Approaches to the classification of political dialogue are substantiated on the basis of its features, the scale of implementation, the actual political situation and the participants in political and communicative interaction. The author analyses the peculiar forms of political dialogue that have emerged under the influence of new information and communication technologies and democratisation of relations. The author points out that in the context of the military conflict between the Russian Federation and Ukraine, information and psychological confrontation play a significant role. The author systematises the main components of information warfare that should be taken into account in order to develop a system of counteracting (minimising) the impact on the mass consciousness of Ukrainians. The study reveals fundamental differences in the basic value and worldview orientations and national character between Ukrainians and Russians, which have become a conflictogenic factor at the level of interpersonal, intergroup and interstate interaction. The author has monitored the news of Russian state media and Russian websites that spread disinformation about Ukraine and identifies the reasons for the use of such techniques. Theoretically possible scenarios of future political dialogue between Ukraine and the Russian Federation on radically new conditions are modelled. The author focuses on the fulfilment of Ukraineʼs demands for the liberation of the occupied territories, elimination of various consequences of the war, restoration and compensation for destroyed infrastructure, and neutralization of war wastes by the Russian Federation. It is emphasised that the future political dialogue between Ukraine and the Russian Federation is complicated by significant losses of human capital in Ukraine, which is imprinted in the historical memory of Ukrainians and the entire civilized world.
