Essay

The thesis is dedicated to the resolution of the scientific task of identifying the peculiarities of future Border Police specialists training at educational institutions of the Slovak Republic Police Corps and substantiating the possibilities of creative use of Slovak experience innovative ideas in the educational process of the educational institutions of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. The first chapter – «Theoretical Foundations of Future Border Police Specialists’ Professional Training in the Educational Institutions of the Police Corps of the Slovak Republic» – highlights the structure and tasks of the educational institutions of the Police Corps of Slovakia, as well as the peculiarities of its Border Police specialists’ training in the European Union; outlines the specifics of the police staff recruitment system and professional and personal requirements for specialists of the Border Police of the Slovak Republic. The second chapter – «Organization of Future Border Police Specialists’ Training at Educational Institutions of the Slovak Republic» – analyzes and provides general description of the organization of future Border Police specialists’ training at the educational institutions of the Slovak Republic and its structuring, describes the peculiarities of training content and organization, outlines the forms, methods and technologies of training. In the third chapter – «Substantiation of the Possibilities of Implementing the Experience of Training Future Border Police Specialists of the Slovak Republic in the Educational Process of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Educational Institutions» – a comparative and pedagogical analysis of future specialists training at educational institutions of the Slovak Republic and the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine has been carried out, as well as scientific and methodological recommendations for academic and pedagogical staff of the Border Guard Service of Ukraine educational institutions on considering the experience of training future Border Police specialists of the Slovak Republic in the practice of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine specialists training. The scientific novelty of the study is: for the first time: the peculiarities of training future Border Police specialists at Slovak Republic educational institutions have been identified on the basis of a comprehensive comparative and pedagogical analysis of the training of future border guard agencies specialists of the Slovak Republic and Ukraine; the necessity of implementing the Border Police experience to improve the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine specialists training and bring it closer to European and world standards has been substantiated; the structuring of training of future Border Police specialists at Slovak Republic educational institutions has been carried out, that is represented by target, theoretical-content, procedural, institutional and diagnostic-resultant blocks, which highlight the specifics of future specialists training at departmental educational institutions of the Slovak Republic; there were improved the content, forms and methods of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine staff training; further development received the ideas about the specifics of recruitment, career development and professional and personal requirements for future specialists of the Police Corps of the Slovak Republic. The practical significance of the obtained results encompasses: the content of the disciplines, teaching and methodological maintenance have been improved; scientific and methodological recommendations have been developed and implemented for academic and pedagogical staff of the Border Guard Service of Ukraine educational institutions on considering the experience of training future Border Police specialists of the Slovak Republic in the practice of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine specialists training.
