Essay

The object of research is bandura art as a component of the musical culture of Ukraine and Ukrainian abroad. The purpose of the study is a systematic analysis of the formation and development of ensemble forms of bandura art in Ukraine and abroad through the prism of their creative achievements. The methods of research were organological analysis of the instrumentation of chamber ensembles and bands, as well as performance analysis of the performance of works of a diverse repertoire by ensemble bandura forms (duets, trios, bands, other mixed ensembles and orchestras). Scientific novelty of the obtained results. For the first time in the work: homogeneous ensembles of bandurists are classified according to the number of performers (chamber ensembles and bands), types of instrumentation (Kyiv-Cernighiv and Kharkiv), repertoire genres (instrumental and vocal-instrumental), performance style; typology of mixed collective forms of bandurists (with the participation of academic and folk instruments) was carried out; trends in the development of duet and capella forms of ensemble art of bandurists are summarized; the criteria for performance assessment of ensemble art of bandur players are defined; the analysis of regional creative achievements of Ukrainian collectives was introduced into scientific circulation; also added: definition of repertoire trends in ensemble performance of bandur players; systematization of achievements of ensemble groups of the Ukrainian diaspora; analysis of the development of the recording activity of bandurists of Ukraine and abroad; the work was continued: the analysis of the performance achievements of bandura ensembles of Ukraine and abroad at the level of creative achievements of their leaders, conductors, and soloists; determining the basics of processing and arranging for different types of bandurist ensembles. Practical significance of the research. Research materials can be used by researchers of bandura art in further scientific research, in the educational process of elementary, pre-professional and higher education institutions of musical and artistic direction, performing activities of collectives. Also, the results of the research can be used in lectures and practical classes on the problems of folk instrumental performance; chapel of bandurists; ensemble class; for materials of conferences and round tables, for radio and television broadcasts
