Essay

Gura V. Formation of a mechanism for preventing and combating corruption in the system of ensuring the economic security of economic entities. – Qualification scientific work as a manuscript. Thesis stands for a candidate degree in Economic Sciences, specialty 073 Management. – Lviv State University of Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Lviv, 2023. The dissertation is devoted to the solution of the scientific problem, which consists in substantiating the theoretical and methodological foundations and developing practical recommendations for the formation of an effective mechanism 7 for preventing and combating corruption in the system of economic security of economic entities. In the first chapter «Theoretical foundations for the formation of a mechanism for preventing and combating corruption in the system of economic security of economic entities», the theoretical foundations for the formation of a mechanism for preventing and combating corruption are developed, which provide for the consideration of the main essential concepts as an economic and legal category with the possibility of influencing the provision of economic security and give the ability to clearly define the legal limits of the object of study, to identify the subjects and object of study, to characterize the key signs and causes of corruption. The second chapter «Methodological foundations for the formation of a mechanism for preventing and combating corruption in the field of entrepreneurship» reveals the theoretical and applied aspect of assessing the level of corruption in Ukraine and the world. Based on the results of a biased analysis, the main forming factors of the Corruption Perceptions Index in Ukraine are substantiated. In the third chapter «Improving the anti-corruption mechanism in the system of economic security of economic entities» it is substantiated that threats form negative prerequisites for the activities of economic entities in the field of electric power industry, with a vector not on the development of their competitiveness and efficiency, but on attempts to solve their problems and obtain the desired results by forming illegal agreements with other economic entities or the public administration system. A scientific and methodological approach to the anti-corruption mechanism in the system of economic security of economic entities has been developed, which allows to determination of alternative options for resource provision in the context of financial, material, and human resources with the possibility of the most optimal option among them based on different needs through the use of the modern method of pair comparisons. It was found that the formation and implementation of an anticorruption mechanism in the system of ensuring the economic security of economic entities involves the implementation of a significant list of actions and processes, which, in turn, are associated with countering and preventing new corruption schemes. As a result, the need for financial, material and human resources is substantiated in order to form and implement an anti-corruption mechanism in the system of ensuring the economic security of economic entities.
