Rudenko M. Management of economic security of construction companies

The dissertation is devoted to the study of theoretical and practical principles of economic security management of construction companies in Ukraine, its implementation will increase the efficiency of managing the level of economic security of construction companies in modern economic conditions. The first section "Theoretical foundations of economic security of construction companies" presents scientific approaches to understanding the nature, principles, functions and features of the functioning of construction companies as subjects of management of their own economic security; the conceptual and categorical apparatus connected with the system of economic security of construction enterprises is determined; substantiated conceptual and organizational model of economic security management of a construction company; the generalized scheme of the decision- making process on the implementation of the strategy of safe development is formed; the significance of construction enterprises as an element of critical infrastructure of the national economy is revealed. The author's definition of the concept "system of economic security of the construction enterprise" in which features of functioning of the construction enterprises are considered is formed. It is determined that the management of economic security of construction companies is based on monitoring and diagnosing the level of economic security in order to timely identify, minimize and prevent internal and external threats. The need to identify threats and risks to the economic security of the construction company, their assessment and ranking is emphasized. The scheme of competitive intelligence of the construction enterprise is offered. Based on the generalization of existing approaches to the definition of the terms "critical infrastructure" and "critical infrastructure" in the scientific works of domestic and foreign authors and regulations of Ukraine and other countries proposed author's definition of critical infrastructure, developed a classification of critical infrastructure of the national economy according to the selected classification features and identified "critical points" of the construction company in terms of its vulnerability as an object of critical infrastructure. In the second section "Methodological provisions and tools for assessing the level of economic security of construction enterprises" analysis of the current state and assessment of prospects for the development of construction enterprises in Ukraine; the methodical tools of research of threats to economic safety of the construction enterprises are analyzed and offered; the methodical approach to the assessment and forecasting of the level of economic security of construction enterprises has been improved. The improvement of the methodological approach to the assessment and forecasting of the level of economic security of construction enterprises is proposed, within which the functional dependence of the integrated indicator of the level of economic security of a construction enterprise on the levels of functional components is determined. Stages of research of a condition of economic safety of the building enterprise are formed and the algorithm and the mathematical device for reception of quantitative and qualitative values of an integral indicator of level of economic safety of the building enterprise and certain functional components are offered. It is determined that the main purpose of managing the economic security of a construction company is to ensure the return on its fixed capital. The scheme of estimation of a level of economic safety of the building enterprise in the context of the balanced system of indicators is made. An algorithm for forecasting the level of economic security of a construction company has been formed In the third section "Implementation of the methodological approach to managing the process of economic security of construction companies" developed a methodological approach to managing the economic security of construction companies and formed strategies for safe development of construction companies taking into account their operating conditions. When developing a methodological approach to managing the economic security of construction companies, a system of unit indicators, formulas for calculating their quantitative values and limit values was proposed, which allowed to obtain a system of indicators to determine quantitative values of functional components and integrated indicator of economic security. When forming a system of indicators (unit indicators), it is proposed to bring all the results of calculations of quantitative values of unit indicators to a single measurement by rationing. Qualitative values of the level of functional components and the integrated indicator of the level of economic security of the construction company are proposed to be obtained in accordance with Harrington's theory.
