Cui W. Modeling of technical and tactical activities of highly qualified athletes in 3x3 basketball

The dissertation is devoted to the substantiation of conceptual provisions and the development of model characteristics of the technical and tactical activity of high-class athletes in 3x3 basketball. The goal of research to develop model characteristics of technical and tactical activity and to determine prospective directions of their use in the process of training highly qualified teams in 3x3 basketball. The research tasks are: 1. To analyze and summarize scientific data on the problem of modeling and features of competitive activity in 3x3 basketball based on data from special literature and the Internet. 2. To justify a complex of informative indicators for modeling technical and tactical activity in 3x3 basketball and to determine their priority importance for the final achievement of the sports result of men's and women's teams. 3. To investigate the peculiarities of the technical and tactical activity of basketball players of different genders and roles and to determine their intercorrelation relationships. 4. To substantiate the main methodological provisions and develop model characteristics of the technical and tactical activity of highly qualified men's and women's teams in 3x3 basketball. 5. To develop a complex mechanism for evaluating the competitive activity of high-class basketball players, taking into account the playing role, and to check its effectiveness in practice. 6. Establish actual ways of implementing the developed model characteristics of technical and tactical activity in the process of training highly qualified teams. The object of the research is the competitive activity in 3x3 basketball. Research methods are: Analysis of literary sources and Internet data, questionnaires, method of expert evaluations, pedagogical observation, analysis of competitive activity, morphological research methods, mathematical and statistical research methods. The scientific novelty of the work consists in the substantiated conceptual methodological provisions for modeling technical and tactical activities in 3x3 basketball, developed model characteristics and evaluation scales for determining the level of technical and tactical preparedness of highly qualified athletes in 3x3 basketball, and identified promising ways of using the developed models during the training of high-class athletes in basketball 3x3. According to the results of the dissertation research, it was established that the important methodological provisions that must be taken into account during the development of model characteristics of the competitive activity of high-class athletes and its further evaluation are: 1) studying the multi-year dynamics of changes over a long period of time; 2) taking into account the strength of the opposing side in the match; 3) taking into account the actual playing time spent by the player on the court; 4) taking into account the playing role of a basketball player; 5) taking into account the age of the basketball player. A comprehensive mechanism for evaluating technical and tactical activity for players based on their role is substantiated and developed, which includes model characteristics per minute of playing time, rating scales for the range of deviation from average statistical data, significance coefficients taking into account the priority importance of game actions for athletes and final normative tables of general evaluation. The experimental approbation of the developed method for evaluating the technical and tactical activity of the players of the Chinese men's national basketball team in 3x3 at the 2022 World Cup showed high informativeness.
