Salata N. Providing quality social services by means of modern information technologies

The analysed register of social service providers is an important component of the digital infrastructure, which contributes to the creation of a single database and improves the accessibility of social services for vulnerable groups. The project “Digital, Inclusive, Accessible: Supporting the Digitalization of Public Services in Ukraine (Support Action)” is another step towards creating an efficient and transparent system of public services. In general, the digital development of social policy in Ukraine opens up new opportunities to improve the quality of citizens’ lives and contributes to more effective and accessible social assistance. The state is actively implementing modern technologies to create a fair and barrier-free social environment for all its citizens. The formation of inclusive and transformative innovation ecosystems that promote the development of multidimensional digital policy with a gender perspective has been investigated. Strategic goals are identified and financial resources are used to forecast and implement policies in the context of changes at labour market. The importance of gender-balanced multidisciplinary groups for creating a favourable environment is also noted. Effective methods of preventing gender-based violence by using technology and directing efforts to eradicate it have been considered. The application of the ecosystem approach to improve the coordination of human rights bodies, increase the degree of involvement of state and non-state actors, their accountability in the field of gender policy and development, has been analysed. Training future social workers to use information and communication technologies in their professional activities has been determined. The analysis has shown that social workers' training programmes are a key factor in improving the efficiency of their work and the quality of social services. This requires the introduction of such training programmes that will focus on the development of ICT competencies and their practical application in various aspects of social work.
