Essay

The thesis presents a thorough analysis of the research findings related to the problem of the preservice vocal teacher’s ethno-cultural competence formation over the process of professional training. It is concluded that there is a significant number of works devoted to the formation of ethno-cultural competence of musical art specialists in general, however, the issue of developing the ethnocultural competence in preservice vocal teachers in the process of professional training at the second (master’s) level in 025 Musical Art major at higher education institutions remains poorly researched, which determined the choice of the research topic.
