Essay

The dissertation is dedicated to solve issues of assessing the impact of chemical industry production on the environment. The main focus is on the development of informational and algorithmic tools for evaluating the environmental safety of industrial facilities. This is based on improving theoretical and methodological approaches to comprehensive analysis of the enterpeises' environmental conditions. The work purpose and assignment is to develop a set of methods for assessing the level of environmental safety of industrial enterprises in the chemical industry. This set will be based on creating informational and methodological support for data processing and presenting results necessary for decision-making and acquiring ecologically significant knowledge. The dissertation presents the results of research of a multi-criteria methodology for assessing the environmental performance of chemical production enterprises and environmental protection decisions.
