Popovych Y. Psychological conditions for the formation of constructive coping behaviour of women affected by domestic violence.

The dissertation is devoted to the theoretical substantiation and experimental study of the psychological conditions for the formation of constructive coping behavior of women affected by domestic violence. Coping behavior of women victims of domestic violence is chosen as the object of the dissertation research, psychological conditions of formation of constructive coping behavior of women victims of domestic violence are the subject. The purpose of the study was to theoretically analyse and empirically investigate the psychological conditions of the formation of coping behaviour of women victims of domestic violence; to develop and test a programme of psychocorrection of coping behaviour of women victims of domestic violence, stimulating its constructive side. The research paper analyses the influence of various factors on the formation of coping behaviour, starting with parenting styles, parent-child relationships; reactions to stressful situations, choice of coping; indicators of tolerance / intolerance to uncertainty as important components of the formation of adaptive constructs of behavioural norms; presence of codependent behaviour patterns as important factors influencing the choice/ignoring of overcoming difficult life circumstances; level of self-attitude as an important indicator of confidence and active position in the processes of overcoming; presence/absence of social and psychological support, which directly affects women's psychological well-being and self-realisation.
