The dissertation is dedicated to studying the psychological characteristics of professional well-being among employees of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, examining its determinants and role in professional activity.
In the first chapter, THEORETICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL ANALYSIS OF STUDIES ON THE PHENOMENON OF PROFESSIONAL WELL-BEING IN HIGH-RISK PROFESSIONS, an analytical review of the phenomenon of professional well-being has been conducted, enabling the formulation of key principles for its deeper understanding and investigation. Personal well-being is considered a multidimensional phenomenon within the frameworks of the hedonic and eudaimonic approaches. The primary aim of research on professional well-being is usually to identify the factors that determine and promote its high level, which is associated with a range of benefits for work performance. As predictors and factors of well-being, a wide array of phenomena have been considered, which have been studied within the framework of positive psychology, a relatively new branch of academic psychology.
In the second chapter, METHODOLOGICAL ASPECTS AND ORGANIZATION OF THE STUDY, the methodological foundations for studying the professional well-being of employees of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES) have been described. The research has been conducted using modern theoretical and empirical approaches, which provided a comprehensive and well grounded understanding of this phenomenon. The applied psychodiagnostic methods have had high psychometric reliability and validity, which allows for the collection of accurate data.
In the third chapter, PSYCHOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF PROFESSIONAL WELL-BEING OF SES EMPLOYEES, the research findings are presented.
The fourth section, PROGRAM FOR DEVELOPMENT OF PROFESSIONAL WELL-BEING OF SES EMPLOYEES, presents the development and implementation of a socio-psychological training program aimed at developing the professional well-being of SES employees. The program is based on the integration of modern theoretical and methodological approaches, the theory of well-being, psychological capital and self-determination. The training used exercises for self-knowledge, role-playing games, group discussions and relaxation techniques, which provided a comprehensive impact on the main components of the professional well-being of SES employees.
The scientific novelty of the obtained results consists in the fact that:

- the the concept of "professional well-being of SES employees" has been defined;
- the role of social, organizational and personal factors in assessing the professional well-being of SES employees has been highlighted;
- the features of the connection between the well-being of SES employees and their types of behavior in situations of professional requirements have been presented;
- the targets of psychological interventions for the development of professional well-being of rescuers have been substantiated. there have been improved: - the ways and methods of assessing the professional well-being of SES employees. there have been further developed: - psychotechnologies for the development of professional well-being of SES specialists. The practical significance of the results obtained consists in the possibility of their use in psychodiagnostic, consultation, psychocorrectional and psychoprophylactic work with the employees of the State Emergency Service. The results have been implemented in the system of psychological support for the professional activities of employees of the State Emergency Service in the form of an author's program for the development of professional well-being of the employees of the State Emergency Service.
