Wang C. Formation of future musical art educators and teachers’ texture-style performance skills in the process of piano teaching

The purpose of the study is to theoretically substantiate, develop and experimentally verify the methodology for forming future musical art educators and teachers’ texture-style performance skills in the process of teaching piano. The scientific novelty of the obtained results lies in the fact that for the first time: the phenomenon of textural and stylistic skills of piano performance has been revealed through functional clusters (emotional-auditory; cognitive-interpretative; chronotopic-perceptive and artistic-performative); the essence of texture-style performance skills is revealed, which is an artistic and performing resource for embodying the image of a piano piece in the process of its interpretation, based on fluent command of the texture diversity of the world piano heritage, its stylistic evolution, the composer's artistic method and the semantic and functional context of the means of musical expression, as well as the essence of this concept in accordance with the activities of future teachers and teachers of musical art as a complex of attributes of artistic technique, characterized by a qualitative understanding and mastery of piano texture in its stylistic projection and in the context of solving pedagogical tasks regarding the perception of the artistic image of piano pieces and teaching piano playing to students of general and primary art education; the component structure of the phenomenon under study has been developed in the unity of the technical and physiological component (encompassing the individual properties of the student pianist), the component of mobility and skill in mastering different textures in different styles, and the component of applying the artistic, figurative and stylistic context of the piano texture of the work in the process of working on it and in concert performance; the methodological basis of the study has been substantiated in the complex of informational and musicological, cognitive and reflective, performance-competence and interpretative and creative scientific approaches; criteria and indicators for assessing texture-stylistic performance skills (reflective and self-corrective, motivational and performance, interpretative and creative) have been developed; Pedagogical conditions for the formation of textural and stylistic performance skills of future teachers of musical art were developed and experimentally tested (Stimulation of adequate self-improvement of artistic and technical performance resources and ways to improve them; Purposeful accumulation of practical application of textural and stylistic standards of the world piano heritage; Creative and dominant attitude to textural and stylistic skills in the performance interpretation of piano works), which were introduced at the Establishment-Reflective, Performance-Mobilization, Accumulation and Image-Interpretation stages.
