The dissertation provides a theoretical generalization and practical solution to the problem of developing the formation of the academic culture of future pianists in studying psychological and pedagogical disciplines in higher education institutions in Ukraine. The first section examines the development of the problem of forming the academic culture of future pianists in Ukrainian higher education institutions. The second chapter reveals the pedagogical conditions for forming future pianists' academic culture in studying psychological and pedagogical disciplines in Ukrainian higher education institutions. In the third chapter, the criteria and indicators are developed, based on which the levels of formation of the academic culture of future pianists are characterized. The effectiveness of pedagogical conditions for forming the academic culture of future pianists in studying psychological and pedagogical disciplines in Ukrainian higher education institutions is experimentally tested. The structural and logical analysis of the concept of the "academic culture of future pianists," as well as the results of generalizing existing scientific research, made it possible to build a diagnostic system for assessing the formation of the academic culture of future pianists in a set of criteria and indicators, each of which is focused on a specific component of academic culture. This system includes criteria for forming each of the elements of academic culture (behavioral, knowledge, communication and activity, personal) and their corresponding indicators (value orientations, academic learning, ability to communicate effectively, need for achievement). The latter made it possible to characterize four levels of the academic culture of future pianists (low (critical), average (basic), above average (sufficient), and high (optimal)). Appropriate methods of quantitative assessment of indicators are selected. The pedagogical experiment involved comparing the results of control and experimental groups. At the beginning and end of the pedagogical experiment, each indicator of the academic culture of future pianists was calculated for each group using the selected methods. Levels ranked the results. The student's criterion for evaluating averages was applied to the results. The null (means are statistically equal) and alternative (means are statistically different) hypotheses were built. The selected significance level was 0.05. According to the statistical analysis results, positive dynamics of value orientations were recorded on all questionnaire scales. Promising areas for future research include the development of the academic culture of future pianists based on non-formal education in the context of electronic or mobile learning and developing the culture of professional communication of future musicians using artificial intelligence based on self-education. The problem of forming the academic culture of specialists in other fields and specialties remains relevant.
