Essay

The dissertation is dedicated to the investigation of the basic processes of the economic development of the Volyn province during the period between wars. The author analyses the changes which took place in the economy of the region while being in the economic system of Druga Rech Pospolita. In the dissertation the process of formation of the industrial manufacture is described and its regional peculiarities are analysed. The significant attention is paid to the development of agriculture, the changes that took place in the structure of land property of the region are highlighted, the condition of the internal and foreign trade in the region in the 20's and 30's is investigated.
