Shcherbinina O. Foreign capital sn metallurgscal and coal indastries of the Donbass and Pridneprovye (1861-1914)

The thesis is a combined historic research of the foreign capital activity in metallurgical and coal industries of the Donbass and Pridneprovye in 1861-1914. For the fist time the author has made an attempt to examine creation of industrial and social infrastructure of the region during the period of being researched on the base of the achievements of domestic and foreign historiography and critical analysis of the sources published before and new archive sources. The trends of the state policy on drawing and regulation of the foreign capital inflow into Donbass and Pridneprovye regions have been analyzed. The role of the foreign capital in the formation of metallurgical and coal industries has been cleared. The main trends of foreign stock companies activity in the social sphere have been shown.
