Nonconventional power resources, specifically wind power. Ways of wind power exploitation in Ukraine are substantiated theoretically and methodologically. The research methods - system analysis, comparative, graphical, economical-statistical. The need for new power resources to be used in national economy has been shown. Developed are methods to assess the efficiency of wind power use. Results have been put into practice and found their use in educational programmes. Scope of application - improvement of forms of power supply.
