The given dissertation research dwells upon the individual psychological aspects of self-determination of a person as an active subject in the full age period (18-25 y.o.). The thesis develops a new trend in humanistic psychology and philosophy related to a person's subject activity development. For the first time, it has been estimated that the period of majority (full age) is every sensitive towards personal self-determination. Complex analysis has been done as to the problem of personal self-determination of a student, being an activity subject in a higher educational institution. There also exposed psychological contents of a notion "personal self-determination" and its dynamics in the individual psychological area of a persons. The dissertation gives a special emphasis on psychological determinants and criteria of individual self-determination of a persons as an active subject in the full age perion. The process under research has been shown in deep correlation to subject activity development and personal self-evaluation; further evaluation has been given to the study of the process structure of subject personal self-determination as a motived action. It has been proved that its basic functioning mechanism is the mechanism of establishing and meaning apporehension of "I am an activity subject"; an attemo was also made to define the logic of its realisation.
