Essay

The dissertation is devoted to a study of efficiency of breathing pattern correction in patients with asthma and chronic obstructive bronchitis. The application of expiratory passivation, volitional limitation of pulmonary ventilation and positive end-expiratory pressure in patients with asthma and chronic obstructive bronchitis leads to significant decrease of lung hyperinflation,which develops due to early closure of respiratory airways and improvement of bronchial indeces. Clinical efficiency of these methods,the absence of side effects make it possible to recommend them in complex of supportive treatment of patients with asthma and chronic obstruc- tive bronchitis.
