Essay

Object of study: persistent bronchial asthma; the aim of the study: to increase the effectiveness of treatment of patients with bronchial asthma by using in the complex treatment of ethylmethylhydroxypiridine succinate; research methods: clinical, laboratory, instrumental and statistical; novelty: for the first time it was established that in patients with asthma of moderate severity during exercise there is a significant decrease in the rate of bronchial patency, major volumes and capacities in the absence or insignificance of signs of pulmonary hyperinflation, transient hypertension, atrial and ventricular depressions ST, inversion of the T wave, compensated respiratory acidosis and hypercapnia were established; scientific data were obtained that in patients with asthma the maximum level of exercise depends on the severity of the disease, decreasing by 3.5% in mild and 25.5% in moderate degree; it is scientifically substantiated that the additional use of ethylmethylhydroxypiridine succinate in the complex therapy of patients with asthma helps to restore the functional state of the cardiorespiratory system and its positive effect on the normalization of both systolic and diastolic blood pressure, reducing its amplitude pathological fluctuations outside the physiological norm, reducing the incidence of ischemic myocardial conditions by 15.2%, reducing respiratory acidosis and hypercapnia, increasing cardiorespiratory endurance by 19.1%, metabolic cost of work performed 1.9 times, energy level stabilization by 32.9 %, improvement of aerobic endurance by 44.1%, the level of load performed by 75.0%, the oxygen cost of work performed by 57.0%. Sphere of application  medicine.
