Social-geographic research is provided on evaluation of present-day position, tendencies and perspectives of structural inner- and inter-branch improvements in agricultural business of Chemivtsi oblast in transition period to market economy. Their essence, oeculiarities and reserch principles are shown, the classification and typification is done, the influence of the system of factors on this process is studied taking into account the world experirnce of agricultural business development. Structural improvements are analyzed in agricultural business of the region in the context of evaluation of effectiveness level of placing its major spheres and revealing the possibilities of their further progress.
