Essay

Space is the base for constructing the conceptual and terminological apparatus of the entire system of geographical sciences. Geographic, social and virtual (cyberspace) spaces are most often mentioned in contemporary geographical research. All three spaces are not isolated from each other. As a result of the interaction of the triad "geospace-sociospace-cyberspace", a special type of space appears – socio-geographical space. It’s a place of interaction, development and functioning of human society as a geospatial formation. In the socio-geographical space the communication networks are formed and the communications of human society are most intensively traced. Communication is a broad term to denote both the physical movement and information exchange at different levels of society. Communications are often interpreted as a network - a set of connecting elements (interactions) between certain objects or phenomena, together with these elements (phenomena).
