Diachuk A. The Time and Area Dynamic of the Land Fund and the Population in Physical and Geographical Regions of Chernivtsi region

In dissertation are used the theoretical and methodological bases of land resources research, their possibilities and demogeographic real factors. The essence of land resources and the characteristic features of their research are clarified. The research is focused to the methodological features of identifying their territorial organization. The author approaches to the analysis of relations in the system «earth-people». The second chapter is devoted to revealing the territorial and temporal features of the land structure of the agricultural districts in Chernivtsi region. It describes the chronological dynamics of the main six categories of land (agricultural, forest, built, open wetlands, without vegetation and water) on the territory of agricultural areas. The land fund is described in detail according to the six main types of land. Important research is given to elucidating the structure of the land fund within physic-geographical rayon through rating analysis. The important two stages in the dissertation was the implementation of a spatial analysis of the availability of land fund by major types of land. First the peculiarities of the concentration of land in the territory of the physic- geographical rayon were revealed. Also the territorial analysis of the concentration of the main land types was clarified. The total cross-sectional and total symmetric ratings analyzed as to the concentration of major categories of land. The next stage was already a direct study of the securement of the whole and rural population in 24 physic-geographical rayon by major six land categories. As a result, a summary aggregate securement rating for all and rural populations across different lands was proposed. The special research is focused on identifying regional peculiarities of people concentration and establishing their correspondence to the concentration of land fund. Thus, the degree of population concentration on the territory of physic- geographical rayon areas and their typing by demogeographic indicators were determined. One of the significant results of the dissertation was the comparative analysis of land and demogeographic resources of physic-geographical rayon with the identification of territorial features between concentrations of land and population. Also the typical characteristics of physic-geographical rayon were highlighted within concentrations of land and population.
